About Me.
I’m Iain—a commercial photographer with a particular passion for capturing interiors, architecture, and beautifully designed spaces.
By day, I bring brands and businesses to life through photography; by night (and in between), I restore vintage furniture and embrace the joys of fatherhood.

After two decades as a Visual & Creative Manager in retail, I decided to take my creative expertise in a new direction. With years of experience designing visual displays that drive brand engagement—and a lifelong love of photography—I made the leap into commercial photography. Five years later, here we are.

Working With Me.
I know that small businesses and creatives often work with tight budgets, so I keep my pricing transparent and accessible. My all-inclusive day rate starts from £300, which can include:

✅ Pre-shoot visit/consultation
✅ 3–4 hour on-site photography session
✅ Editing and delivery of high-quality images

Terms and conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings must be confirmed via email or in writing. By confirming a booking with Spectacle Glasgow, you agree to the terms outlined here.
2. Cancellation & No-Shows
Cancellations made:

More than 48 hours before the scheduled shoot – no charge.

Within 48 hours of the shoot – 50% of the agreed fee may be charged.

On the day of the shoot or in the event of a no-show – a minimum half-day rate (£150) will be charged, or the full agreed fee at our discretion.
3. Access & Delays
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access to the location at the scheduled time. If a shoot cannot begin within 30 minutes due to lack of access or readiness, Spectacle Glasgow reserves the right to leave and invoice accordingly.
4. Day Rates & Minimum Fees
Unless otherwise agreed, all bookings are subject to a minimum half-day rate. Fees cover time, travel, and expertise — not just the delivery of final images.
5. Payment Terms
Invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Late payments may be subject to a 5% monthly fee.
6. Usage Rights & Licensing
Final usage rights will be outlined at the time of booking or delivery. Unless otherwise agreed, Spectacle Glasgow retains copyright, and clients are granted usage rights specific to their agreed needs (e.g. web, print, social, etc.).
7. Image Delivery
Final images will be delivered digitally within an agreed timeframe. Retouching and file prep are included unless stated otherwise.
8. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing accurate briefings and ensuring subjects and locations are ready on arrival. Any additional time required on site may be charged at an hourly rate.
